Malabar whistling thrush
My first post in this platform. Malabar whistling thrushes are usually found in dark undergrowth and dense riverine forests. The hazy morning and the trees coming together seemed to play along with that quite well!

After quite a few attempts, got a glimpse of this Wayanad Wrinkled Frog (Nyctibatrachus grandis) peeping out from gap in the rocks under a waterfall (a place this guy calls home).
The entire family of wrinkled or night frogs (Nyctibatrachidae) is endemic to the Western Ghats, and the Wayanad Wrinkled Frog is the largest member in this family.
