A lovely subadult cub of Hirdinala female strides across the dusty road on a early winter morning. The kolsa zone in Tadoba is undoubtedly the best place to come across such sights, just 4 jeeps in total are allowed to enter kolsa per safari, on this particular day only 2 jeeps both belonging to our group had entered and were treated by this sighting.

Barking Deer. Did You Know ? Barking Deer also known as Indian Muntjac are not pure herbivore. Probably only species in deer which is omnivorous, feeding on grass, fruits, shoots, seeds, birds' eggs as well as small animals. It sometimes displays even scavenging behavior.
Indian Roller. This species of bird are best known for the aerobatic displays of the male during the breeding season (As seen in Image). Hence they are known as Indian Roller.
