Website for safari booking for national parks and tiger reserves in Rajasthan is http://fmdss.forest.rajasthan.gov.in/. Wasn't all that user friendly so here is how to do it. To create an account, click on SSO Login and then Register. I tried doing through FB, but eventually had to do it through Google. Once registered, login at the same place, then click on 'Rajasthan Wildlife' on the left hand side and 'WildLife ticket booking' thereafter. Earlier website is no longer used for bookings. Hope it helps.

One of Maya's cubs from a previous litter
It was a cold winter morning in December when very early in the safari, we saw Maya's cubs waiting for their mother to come back. Plenty of jeeps had lined up and one of the cubs could not help but notice what all the fuss was about. He sat up upright looking at the safari jeeps that had lined up. Love the pose and just how the forest looked!

Spotted forktail,
Saw them quite often outside JCNP while driving through, especially at places where there were streams with gentle running water. Also saw Little forktails which are seen in much faster running water.

Saurabh Kumar good catch!

Alert sambar deer in the meadows
They were nervous and jittery, the tall grasses are the perfect place for ambush attacks.
