The picture was clicked in the backdrop of Mangrove forest in Sunderban during our travel from 14th-17th March, 2019. Thanks to my co travelers and special mention of my guide Tarun Vaidya @ 6295771175. This is my 7th sighting out of last 16 safaris in the difficult zone.

The plan is to meet at Godkhali Jetty on 13th March around 6 pm. We will assemble and our journey will start. On 17th March again we will alight at Godkhali jetty around 6 pm. The time may vary by 1 hr depending on tide. Hence we will spend 4 nights and 5 days in the mechanised boat with nice cabin and European toilet to accommodate 6 persons comfortably. The expenses will include 4 BLD and Mineral water will be provided. Forest permit for boat and commuters, Guide charge is also included.Snacks will be organised after discussing with the group. Our target species mainly Tiger of sunderban and variety of birds of mangrove forest. Sighting tiger in sunderban National Park which cannot be compared with any other park in India.Hope to have memorable trip. I am also open to suggestion from confirmed group members except change of date.

Ashley am interested but will confirm in a day or two. Pls let me know how i can inform and if any group member would be travelling from kolkata to godkhali

Tour inside Sunderban National Park in motorized six cylinder boat with facility for reverse gear to see the Big cat or any other mamals and birds with ease. Enjoy the mangrove forest and nice foliage post monsoon. The date is selected as it will be low tide which will provide better opportunity to track and watch Big cat and other mammals.Co travelers from outside West bengal may enjoy Durga Puja the biggest festival of West bengal from 17th October onwards at his/her arrangement.

Brant Bady I see this is a repeat of one you had planned earlier. I will be in India from Jan 1 to March 14, via Kolkata looking to cover off some of what I missed on my first trip, nothing to do but do safaris and wander around with a camera. If you plan another trip to Sunderbans during that time, or someplace else interesting (Bangladesh?) please feel free to message me. http://thewanderinghoneybadger.com is my blog
