This is from the Crocodile / Gharial point, overlooking the Ramganga river, roughly a km from the Gairal Forest Rest House in Dhikala. It gets its name as one can frequently see gharials and crocs basking in the banks of the shallow waters of Ramganga. Look closely and you may be able to spot a gharial and a crocodile in the picture. The croc should be fairly straightforward, can you spot the gharial?

A beautiful bird - hopefully I can get a good clean frame one day! Males have rufous or white plumage and long tails whereas females have rufous plumage and short tails.
