Focus will be mainly on macro and bird photography. We will be staying at Jayanti and trek through the jungle trails to Mahakal, Buxa Fort, Lepchakha, etc. Lodging will be in WBTDC lodge or homestay, which ever is available and within budget. Do not expect much luxury. Accommodations here are pretty basic.
We will be accompanied by a local naturalist on our treks. Itinerary is open for better suggestions.
Early morning start from Alipurduar is preferable to maximize the duration of stay amidst the green

Vineet Kurien Hi Subhashis.. is this a good time for birds in NE?

Subhashis Chakraborty Ya, I have mentioned birding after getting inputs from a local guide. According to him resident species like minivets, leaf birds, sunbirds, hornbills, quite a few raptors can be sighted at this time of the year
